Ammonia is a killer in any aquarium. Chemizee is a naturally occurring mineral which will eliminate or reduce Ammonia in any setup. Change regularly for best effect.

The 421s Blue Sponge is an essential part of your aquarium set up and if you're serious about water quality in your AquaReef aquarium, then the Aqua one 421s carbon cartridge is a must. It works in two ways: by trapping the larger particles of fish waste and aquarium debris and secondly providing a home upon which beneficial bacteria can grow. Generally it's best to replace the the 421s Blue Sponge Foam with a new one every 16 weeks.
