Replacing the 102i Impeller in your Xpression aquarium
Impellers work extremely hard in your aquarium, spinning several thousand times per hour and are often the only moving part in your setup. Wear therefore is inevitable and it's best to replace about every 12 months to keep your pump working optimally. It's also good practice to have a spare in case you have a problem at any point.
Regular Cleaning and Maintenance
Once a week you should remove the impeller and give it a good clean with an aquarium pipe brush. Check for debris in the filter impeller housing also and clean the housing before replacing the impeller.
