Aqua One's 75w Wool Pad is a direct, drop-in replacement that will help keep your aquarium in fantastic condition. The wool layer traps the finer particles of solid waste to give your AquaNano 36 aquarium water final that "polished" look. The Wool Cartridge works extremely hard and will need to be replaced every 2 to 4 weeks.

AquaNano Marine 36 - Aquarium Maintenance Made Easy
The AquaNano 36 filtration unit is a complete item and can be completely removed from the aquarium in one go if necessary causing little or no distubance to the setup at all. The unit houses all the essential items including, 75c Carbon and Wool Cartridge, 75w wool and 75s sponge pads, both the return and skimmer pumps and the excellent protein skimmer.
Cartridges, Pads and BioNoodles
Regular aquarium maintenance is the cornerstone of good fishkeeping and for the marinekeeper even more important. The 75c Carbon Cartridge should be changed about every 8 weeks, the 75w Wool Pad every 2 to 4 weeks depending on condition, whilst the 75s sponge pad can be rinsed in a little aquarium water, replacing every 12 months or so when the cell structure deteriorates.
BioNoodles are an ideal home to beneficial nitrifying bacteria that will help to keep the bad bacteria at bay. During a partial water change every couple of weeks or so, it's a good idea to rinse the bio noodles in a little aquarium water and to replace a few of the most clogged up ones. Be careful never to rinse your bionoodles under the tap as this will kill off the bacteria and cause problems in your tank
