Aqua One PL11 Sunlight / Tropical Compatibility
The Aqua One PL11 Sunlight / Tropical will fit any Aqua one aquarium designed to accept a PL11w tube. The PL-11 Sunlight / Tropical tube has two connection pins at the bottom and will also work in any other aquarium designed to accommodate this format along with the following Aqua One aquariums: AquaMode 300, AquaMode 600, AquaStart 320, AquaStart 320T, AquaStart Pro 340, AquaStart 500, AquaStyle 126, AquaStyle 380, AquaStyle 510, UFO 350 and UFO 550.
Keep a spare Lighting Tube
Do keep a spare lighting tube around. Your fish use the amount and duration of light they receive to regulate their internal clock i.e. is it time to be active, feed or time to sleep etc. Periods of time without light aren't harmful but can leave them a little disorientated.
Replacing your PL 11W Sunlight / Tropical Lighting Tube
Be patient here. All the PL lamps can be a rather firm fit in their socket and the long glass section is fragile (of course). Its best to grasp the base of the tube and slowly 'waggle' it out a little at a time. Take your time - it will come out and the replacement tube will just slot back into the socket. Again do press the new tube firmly into place but don't place any pressure on the glass section for safety's sake.
